These terms govern your use of the Hyderabad Film Festival website and your participation in HFF 2026, including competitions, hackathons, masterclasses and the festival day at T-Works, Hyderabad on 03 October 2026.

1. Acceptance
By browsing this website, registering for any HFF event or purchasing a pass, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not register or purchase a pass. For any clarification before you register, write to info@hyderabadfilmfestival.com.
2. Organisers
Hyderabad Film Festival 2026 is presented by CINIC and Communitie. References to "we", "us", "the organisers" or "HFF" mean the festival organising team.
3. Registration and eligibility
Registrations for competitions and hackathons are handled through Communitie. You must provide accurate details when registering. Entries submitted with incorrect, incomplete or misleading information may be disqualified.
Participants below 18 years of age need consent from a parent or legal guardian to attend the venue or take part in any competition.
4. Passes and entry
A pass is valid for one person only and must be presented along with a government issued photo ID at the venue. Passes are non-transferable unless we confirm a transfer in writing.
The organisers may refuse or revoke entry in cases of disruptive behaviour, intoxication, harassment, damage to property, or failure to follow venue and safety instructions. No refund is due in such cases.
5. Competitions, hackathons and awards
Each competition and hackathon runs to its own brief, timeline and judging criteria published at the time registrations open. Judging decisions are final. The organisers may change formats, timelines, jury members or prize structures where circumstances require it.
You confirm that any work you submit is your own, that you hold the rights to it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. Entries that are plagiarised or unlawful will be removed and disqualified.
6. Your work and our use of it
You retain ownership of the work you submit. By submitting an entry you grant HFF, CINIC and Communitie a non-exclusive licence to screen, display and feature your work and your name in festival screenings, award announcements, recaps and promotional material relating to HFF.
7. Programme changes
Programme details, timings, venues, speakers and line-ups are subject to change. We will publish updates on this website and notify registered participants by email where a change materially affects them.
8. Photography and recording
The festival is photographed and filmed. By attending, you consent to appearing in festival photography, video and live coverage. Write to support@hyderabadfilmfestival.com if you have a specific concern about your likeness being used.
9. Payments
Pass prices are shown on the tickets section of this website. All payments are processed by our payment partner. Booking, invoicing and payment queries go to accounts@hyderabadfilmfestival.com.
10. Refunds
Bookings are final. Once a pass or entry is booked, no refunds are issued. Please read the Refund Policy before you pay.
11. Liability
You are responsible for your personal belongings at the venue. To the extent permitted by law, the organisers are not liable for loss, damage or injury other than where caused by our negligence.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
